Don’t worry, everyone — hunky Chace Crawford and ugly Ed Westwick are still BFFs!

When Chace moved out of the New York apartment he shared with his Gossip Girl costar, speculation the pair had fallen out reached fever-pitch.

But sources close to the twosome insist they’re still on good terms — and hanging out more than ever.

“Chace and Ed are best friends,” a source told the National Enquirer. “That’s not going to change anytime soon.

“They’re hanging out even more, now that Chace has moved out.”

Chace, 24, was said to have moved because Ed, 22, is too messy.

“The truth is,” the source added, “they’re both total slobs.

“What happened is that Chace just wanted a place of his own with more privacy.

“Ed has become more serious with his girlfriend, Jessica Szohr, and Chace was feeling a bit like a third wheel.” [source]

Although reports have been circulating recently that Gossip Girl co-stars and real-life sweethearts Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr were having relationship problems, the two seemed anything but distant at cast-mate Taylor Momsen’s 16th birthday party last night at Hiro Ballroom in NYC. An eyewitness tells OK! the twosome were having a blast with each other at the party, which included a performance by Taylor’s band, Pretty Reckless.

Ed and Jessica were the epitome of an affectionate couple last night, as Ed kept his hand on Jessica’s bar while they hung out by the bar, taking shots with pal Chace Crawford and drinking Tiger beer during the party, the insider reveals. As the night wound down, Ed and Jessica left together with Chace.
