The Screen Gems thriller The Roommate is going to hit theaters on October 1, 2010. The studio loves those long-lead release dates, eh? Director Christian E. Christiansen shot the film earlier this year based on a script by Sonny Mallhi. Leighton Meester, Cam Gigandet and Minka Kelly star in the film about a college student who is randomly assigned to a freshman dorm with a stranger named Rebecca. Things turn deadly when Rebecca becomes obsessed and begins targeting people in Sara's life. [source]
I am so excited to see Leighton play a psycho stalker/killer! Aren't you? But, 10-2010 is so far away. And I just love how she loves the character of Blair Waldorf and doesn't plan on leaving Gossip Girl anytime soon. This is why I love her.
